Chef Jane Nordstrom, the owner and operator of Thyme Savor Personal Chef Service, is committed to creating a meal service program that meets your lifestyle needs and to menus that are “palate-specific.” What’s that?
Palate-specific means that food is made to your exact tastes, using the kinds of foods you love, the level of spiciness you prefer and the types of global cuisines you favor. We want to know about the foods you don’t like, too, so you can rest assured you never see them on your plate.
On a diet? No problem. Thyme Savor Personal Chef Service can provide low calorie foods that are high in flavor and are portion controlled. We also offer gluten-free and vegetarian menus!
Step One: The Interview
Chef Jane meets with you – and your family, if you prefer – to talk about your likes and dislikes and to learn more about how you eat, whether you are on an special diet or have individualized dietary needs, such as high cholesterol or food allergies.
Step Two: Setting the Menu
Each week Chef Jane will provide you with customized menu suggestions based on your tastes and dietary preferences that will make you hungry just thinking about it!
Step Three: The Cook Date
Chef Jane will do the grocery shopping to ensure the freshest ingredients possible. Then she will arrive at your home with all her own equipment: pots, pans and utensils. She will cook the food right there in your own kitchen, package it, store it in either the refrigerator or freezer, clean your kitchen and leave you with appropriate reheating instructions.
